Pets on Quilts 2015

Pets on Quilts 2015 kicks off today.

Last year we lost Tinkerbell a couple of months prior to Pets on Quilts so I borrowed a neighbors dog to grace my quilt.

This year we are so fortunate to now have 2 rescue dogs as part of our family.

They don't do the picture thing for me yet.  It required a lot of pleading and holding tight to 2 leaches.

Nettie came to live with us in February, that's her on the left. Celie, her birth sister came to live with us in July after recovering from some major health issues.

This is a picture of the 6 seconds where they both sat down at the same time.

And this is the best of the 10 or so photos we took of them on the quilt.

This is definitely For the Dogs On A Quilt Category.

  15. I think these are lucky pups to be in your home! They look happy as they survey your quilt blocks. They'll soon figure out how comfy it is to nap on your quilts!

  16. Thank goodness for people who help rescues pets. The girls are too cute. Soon the will settle in completely and once the realize how snugly those things are you won't be able to get them off of it :)

  17. Congrats on the new family members! Even here in GA we don't see too many English Bulldogs except for the concrete yard ornament variety. They are generally wearing a painted on red letterman's sweater.

  18. It's hard enough trying to get one dog to sit still for a photo, let alone two! Nettie and Celie are gorgeous.
