Vacation Projects

Just got back from a 2 week romp in very hot Florida.  Had lots of heat and lightening. I took a few projects along to work on in my down time.

I finished my X's and O's quilt.  I had assumed that I would finish it in greens but I found this wonderful brown fabric in a JoAnn's I was visiting down there.  There was just enough brown in some of my green blocks to make it work.

I love the fabric, the design is old wooden rulers with advertising printed on them.

I also finished my Rush Hour piece while there and did all of the picture taking.  Needed to do that since it stayed in Florida when I came home.  Photos to follow on September 25 right here.

I also managed to make another knitted chemo cap.

Well that's it for tonight, back to work tomorrow.

  1. Oh, like that vintage ruler fabric - how cool!! What a lovely finish.
