and so it begins... I've been thinking of starting a blog for several months now. It started when someone pointed me to the Sewmanyways.blogspot for Tool Time Tuesdays. What a great introduction to blogland. I am a quilter. I have been seriously quilting for about 15 - 20 years. I have been sewing and doing all other types of needlework since I was a kid. Today I do some knitting, mostly when I need a "to go" project, but mostly I quilt. A little about me, I am a mature women living in Central NJ with the love of my life. We parent a wonderful Bulldog, "Tinkerbell" who we rescued 2 years ago. Pictures will follow once I figure out the how. She didn't have much in the way of social skills when she came to live with us but now she is a big slobbery love. We are great Disney World fans and have timeshare there. One of the quilts I am currently working on is based on the tile floor of one of the bathrooms in the Animal Kingdom. I belong to the Molly Pitcher Stitchers Quilt Guild and credit its members with most of my advancement in quilting. I hope to use this blog as a way to track what it is I do and some of what I have done. I have been a very bad record keeper. I also hope that putting it in print will keep me on track. I've noticed that several of you have set goals for the year and several have started your Christmas projects. I am learning from you all, on a daily basis. I am as ready as ever to hit the publish button. Here goes.... my next adventure.
